Many worlds collide

Some people try to seperate Science Fiction and Fantasy into two distinct genres while others lump them together.  While that may be well and good if you are dealing with either the futuristic or fantastic possibilities, but where do the stories fit whose plots revolve around assassinations of heads of state or kidnappings?  What about those dealing with indigenous cultures and the effect new settlers have on their world?  Are these not the same as the standard mysteries or westerns found in the other sections of our libraries and bookstores?

Node Rebellion is an attempt at telling the same stories set in different genres.
